Praise Satin, maker of fancy underthings

Silk bloomers are a lovely solution to the chronic question of the skirt-wearing cyclist: How, exactly, do I manage this? Safety pins rip and poke. Clips come undone. Shorts require quick-change artist skills. Special skin-tight cycling clothing? No, no, a thousand times, no. Grin and bear it? Often, and in more ways than one.

Praise Satin bloomers are silk on the outside, cotton on the inside, shaped to fit comfortably through the seat and hips, and will lay smooth under anything but the clingiest knit or tightest pencil skirt. The silk lends a smooth, sassy flow to your skirt.

Built to last with flat-lock seams. Shaped waistband. No zippers, no elastic in the openings, and you gather the legs as much as your mood suits. Lace may be new or vintage; buttons are vintage or recently reclaimed.

Handcrafted and tested with great vigor in Portland, Oregon, where we dress fancy and do a bit of pedaling around. Should our skirts fly up as we roll along, we know that everyone’s happy with what’s on display.
